Peterborough Integrated Children’s Health Service (Paediatric Occupational Therapy)

The Peterborough Paediatric Occupational Therapy Service works in partnership with families and/or teachers to help children and young people who are experiencing significant delay as a result of.

  • Learning disability
  • Physical disability
  • Neurodevelopmental disorders
  • Sensory and auditory processing disorders
  • Motor co-ordination disorders

The service uses activity analysis to address the works to improve the child and young person’s functional skills in different aspects of their life.

The service is offered at the City Care centre clinic base, which has disabled access & facilities.C  hildren are often seen in Child Development Centre which has clinic facilities.  There is a shop and café available on site. 

Children & young people are also seen in a variety of other settings in the community.

The service is offered to children & young people from birth to 18 years of age ( 19 years in a special educational setting)

Referrals to the service are reviewed by the Team Lead Paediatric Occupational Therapist.
