Heritage Festival Schools Day 2018

Heritage Festival Schools Day 2018

At this year’s festival your class can:

  • Travel through time meeting characters spanning thousands of years of history as you complete the quest for St Oswald’s magic ring
  • Meet the Iron Age Warrior Queen, Boudica. Will you join her army as they rise up against the Roman invasion? Or will you be persuaded to join the Roman legions by Suetonius Paulinus, the Roman general in charge of stopping her?
  • Hear the tales of a master storyteller amidst the magnificent setting of the Cathedral’s South Transept

This unique event brings our local history vividly to life, providing an immersive experience pupils will never forget.
