Regular activities and events

  • Story and Rhyme time – Wednesday 11-11.45am. Stories and rhymes for under 5’s. Come in and make some noise!
  • Adults Drop-In session – every Friday 2-4pm. Enjoy a chat and a cuppa, still only 20p. And join in the occasional Book Club, when we discuss what we have been reading, and why we liked it – or not!
  • Homework Club – every Saturday 2-4pm. Come and use the computers free of charge – and get some printing done too. Free printouts limited to 10 pages.

Class visits for schools

Library staff will help you with computer use, advice about learning qualifications and local courses.

You can use newspapers, books, local directories like Yellow Pages, DVDs and the internet. An interpreter can be provided if you ask.

To renew your loans you can use our automated phone line or renew using the library catalogue. Both are available at any time of day or night.
