At Arthur Mellows Village College we enjoy a breadth and depth of talent, goodwill and commitment amongst all staff and students which is a constant factor in our success. We pride ourselves in having a caring, secure but stimulating Community College.
We offer excellent educational opportunities to all students and the wider community, through the high quality of our teachers, curriculum, accommodation and materials. In 2015, 76.5% of our Year 11 students gained 5 or more A* to C GCSE passes including English and Maths, which represented a great achievement. I realise that the quality, ethos and approach we offer has not been built over night, but is a result of a commitment to generations of students who, with parents and Governors, have supported our work. This has produced a College where complacency is not acceptable. We will always strive to improve opportunities and outcomes for all our learners. Out stated goal will continue to be:
“Delivering learning for life within an aspirational culture”
