City of Peterborough Sports Club Summer HAF Club Bretton Gate (Children aged 6-11 years)ie school year 1 to 6 inclusive)

What we offer: 

We will build on and develop our programme based on the experience of delivery in 2022 and Easter 2023 so as to provide the most engaging experiences for the children. Each day’s activity will consist of different sports: • Tennis • Football • Cricket • Hockey • Squash. We will also create formats around “mini-Olympics”, and deliver new sports such as frisbee and dodgeball which are now popular in schools. Given the size of our site, we will also consider providing orienteering. Our lunch options include: • Jacket potatoes and filling options (tuna, beans, cheese) and yoghurts and fruit • Chicken and pasta bake and yoghurts and fruit • Chicken and rice and yoghurts and fruit • Make your own pizza and yoghurts and fruit. We have an on-site kitchen to prepare and cook hot foods. We will provide healthy snacks at break times such as fruit, yogurts, cheese, nuts and others. We have secured, again for 2023, the services of the Head Chef from Woodston Primary School who has invaluable experience in providing healthy meals for children on free school meals. We are cognizant of any special dietary requirements and will seek this information as part of the application information from parents / carers


Session dates and session times:

BLOCK 1 - Monday 24 July to Thursday 28 July 2023 (this is 4 sessions)

BLOCK 2 - Monday 31 July to Thursday 3 August 2023 (this is 4 sessions)

BLOCK 3 - Monday 7 August to Thursday 10 August 2023 (this is 4 sessions)

BLOCK 4 - Monday 14 August to Thursday 17 August 2023 (this is 4 sessions)

9:15 am to 1:30 pm each day (inclusive of lunch)
