We are the Peterborough branch of a national charity, which aims to help adults with poor literacy skills. We teach people to read on a one to one basis, using public place such as local libraries. Anyone can be referred to us or can self refer. Our service is free and confidential. All our volunteers are local people, who give their time for free and have been trained by Read Easy.
If you would like to find out more, refer someone or offer your services as a volunteer, please contact us using the details below.

- Other notes
We can help people of different nationalities through our scheme, as long as they have a basic command of the English language. We take adults with additional needs and there is no upper age limit, but we can only take people over the age of 18 for safeguarding reasons. We can only accept people who live within Peterborough, due to our limited resources. We use libraries and other public spaces all round the city, to minimise travel for our learners.
