Marshfields Special School
Special day school for children with learning difficulties.
Marshfields is a mixed, day, Community Special School. It caters for 175 learners aged from 7 to 19 each of whom has a Education Health and Care Plan.
The school has excellent facilities including generously proportioned, well equipped classrooms which allow students to access a differentiated secondary curriculum. Specialist classrooms for science, DT, Food and Computing further enhance the offer and allow for accredited courses to be delivered to a high standard. Facilities also include key stage sensory rooms which address students’ wider needs.
The school offers all students a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum, closely matched to the targets set out in each student’s EHCP and Preparing for Adulthood objectives.
