We provide free, confidential and impartial advice. Our goal is to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face. People come to us with all sorts of issues. You may have money, benefit, housing or employment problems. You may be facing a crisis, or just considering your options. We aim to provide the advice people need for the problems they face and improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives. We provide free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination.
We no longer have a physical office in Peterborough so we are no longer open to the public for face to face advice. Please contact us using the channels below.

Our Adviceline is often incredibly busy as we are currently receiving more than 1000 calls each month. You may have to wait in a queue or call back at less busy times such as between 9am and 10am or just after 1pm.

Outside of these hours and when all of our operators are busy an automated attendant system is in operation.
Calls to our Adviceline are answered predominantly by our trained volunteer advisers. They will ask you questions about you and your situation to determine the best advice for you. They will explain your options so you can make your own informed decisions about your situation.
We aim to resolve your issue when you call us but we may advise you to take some action and then contact us again.
