Get Connected is the UK’s free, confidential and multi-issue helpline service for young people under 25 who need help, but don’t know where to turn. We help young people find a path to a brighter future.
We can help children and young people no matter where they are in the UK and no matter what the issue. Our service is available 365 days a year over the phone, via web chat, email or our free app. Our website also includes a searchable directory of support services.
When young people get in touch, one of our trained volunteers will help them to explore their situation, however they feel comfortable. They offer emotional support and can also search our database of trusted organisations across the UK for sources of further specialist help. We are also able to provide an enhanced service for young people and parents worried about psychological health and wellbeing.
Last year, our Helpline Volunteers directly helped over 24,000 children and young people who needed help with a wide range of issues including homelessness, self harm, bullying and drugs.
Get Connected/ YouthNet (soon to be The Mix) is a registered charity no. 1048995, dependent on donations.
We are also a company limited by guarantee, number 3031098.
