Due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we have had to temporarily stop all face-to-face Debt Help visits, community groups and events. We don’t want to disrupt our service but people have always come first at CAP and our priority is the health and wellbeing of those we help, our staff and volunteers.
Please be assured that we are working with our partner churches and other organisations to ensure that we can continue to bring real support and the love of Jesus, where it is most needed. We are looking at the kind of debt service we can provide across this time. It will likely involve a phone consultation but we have some compliance and data protection elements to work through.
The local Church has never been more essential. While the same services may not be possible for a period of time, other acts of compassion, generosity and love are perfectly do-able and we will play our part in encouraging and facilitating those.

If you have a home visit booked in, this will now take place over the phone. You should have already been contacted about this, but if not, please speak to your Debt Coach, or call us at head office on 0800 328 0006.
If you've already had a visit from your Debt Coach, they will be in touch with you soon to let you know the next steps with your case.
