Meditation and Modern Buddhism

Drolma Centre is a centre for Meditation and Modern Buddhism and offers everyone the opportunity to develop lasting mental peace through meditation and related practices.

We hold regular meditation classes in Peterborough, Cambridge, Stamford and Spalding and occasional classes in March, Oakham, Oundle, Wisbech, and Whittlesey.

The Centre and its activities are open to everyone.

You do not have to be Buddhist to take part in the classes or courses run by us or to benefit from them.

We offer a wide range of classes, courses and retreats on meditation and modern Buddhism for all levels from complete beginners to more experienced meditators.

Meditation workshops

A series of inspiring half day and one day meditation workshops that explore special methods for overcoming everyday challenges.

Discover the extraordinary capacity of our mind for peace, joy and happiness.

Learn how to empower ourselves to enjoy a vibrant, healthy and deeply fulfilling life.

Why me, and why now? These are questions we often ask… Discover Buddhist teachings on the law of karma, which explains why things turn out the way they do. Learn to create the future we want by planting and cultivating karmic seeds of contentment, peace and joy.

On this course we will explore:
All about karma - why me and why now?
How we experience karma - understanding feelings
How we create karma - understanding the power of intention
How our dreams can help us understand karma
Be the architect of your future - how to create the cause for a happy and meaningful future and how to purify suffering and negative karma.

Each session will consist of guided meditations and practical advice for a happy life.

Everyone is welcome to attend and no experience of meditation is needed.

Please wear relaxed and comfortable clothing - seating is on chairs or on the floor is you prefer.
