Prior's Court School is an independent special school for young people from 5 to 19 with autism and moderate to severe learning difficulties. It is mostly residential: weekly or termly 38, 44 or 52 week placements. As an autism-specific school, Prior's Court is able to focus on meeting the special needs of its students in the most effective and consistent way to support their learning. The 50 acre site includes educational, therapeutic, residential and leisure areas in which to learn, socialise, exercise and undertake vocational activities such as animal husbandry and horticulture.In addition to classrooms and residential homes there is a purpose built dining room, multi-sensory suite, occupational therapy rooms, art room, life-skills room, swimming pool, indoor and outdoor gym, all-weather track for running, cycling and walking, a stableyard and paddocks and outdoor classroom for learning animal husbandry.
