Verulamium Park

Description

Set in over 100 acres of beautiful parkland, Verulamium Park is named after the Roman city on which it now stands. The city wall and gates can still be seen.

The lake is home to a number of wildfowl including grebes, coots and swans. There are football pitches, netball and tennis courts, crazy golf, a children's splash park (summer months only) and a fenced off area with swings and slides for toddlers. Snacks, drinks and hot meals are available from the Inn on the Park cafe.

Verulamium Museum and St Albans Cathedral are both within easy walking distance.
