Connecting Stories

Connecting Stories

Our Connecting Stories campaign has officially launched in Peterborough.

Connecting Stories is an Arts Council England-funded project addressing the literacy attainment gap across our 14 Hub areas and increases children and young people’s access to literary experiences and books in communities most in need of support.

What's happening?

The Peterborough campaign will be supported by publisher Simon & Schuster UK who will be donating books all over the town. Authors Danny Wallace and Guy Bass are also supporting the campaign by championing reading and creative writing in the local area.

Children aged 7 to 11 in Peterborough are invited to take part in a creative writing competition with the theme 'The World Around Us'. All entrants will receive a certificate, and winning entries will be displayed in an anthology. Find out more information on Peterborough's competition page.

More community-driven activities related to the Connecting Stories campaign will be announced throughout the year.
