Ormiston Bushfield Academy

Since opening as an Academy in September 2010 we have made great strides in
transforming the learning experience and outcomes for our students.

Ormiston Bushfield Academy has specialist status in Mathematics, Sport and Performing Arts.

We have a strong focus on making every child matter and this has been recognised through national recognition of our 'inclusion' policy and the award of the Inclusion Charter Mark.

There are no strangers within the academy and it is a community where everyone is known to everyone. Ormiston Bushfield Academy is a popular academy and in the last three years we have been oversubscribed.

We encourage high aspirations and we enjoy helping individuals to overcome obstacles, rise to challenges and experience success.

We have a future building programme which will develop over the next three years on a Greenfield site close to the existing academy. This will enable us to increase our admissions number to 950 students.
