Eyrescroft Primary School

-

Eyrescroft Primary School was opened on 1 September 1991. The school was formed from the amalgamation of Eyrescroft Infant and Eyrescroft Junior Schools.

The school is situated next to Bretton Park, at the end of Eyrescroft cul de sac. There is a large grassed area in front of the school with the park and a BMX track behind.

The school has extensive grounds of its own, giving an impression of space and greenness. It also has 14 semi-open plan classrooms, with shared practical areas between rooms. Other facilities include a school hall, a computer suite, meeting room, a library and a staff room. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school.

These activities include football, gymnastics, swimming and various other games. The school aims to provide children with a sense of self-worth in a well-structured, calm and safe environment where the highest possible academic standards are achieved.
