Formal requests for short breaks are made at a panel meeting called the Children with Disabilities panel. Requests for shared care are made at a panel called the Joint Agency Support Panel. Requests are made following an assessment and the child or young person's parents contribute to the assessment. The person who completes the assessment goes to the panel to present the assessment and talk about what support is needed.
Cherry Lodge is a local authority children's home which means that there isn't a charge for children or young people who live in Peterborough.
