Alzheimer's Society Memory Walk

Memory Walk is so much more than a sponsored walk

Every year thousands of amazing people come together to remember, share and bring hope for a brighter future where dementia no longer devastates lives. This Autumn we’re bringing Memory Walk to 24 different locations, but we can’t do it without your support.

We still need 50 volunteers to make the Cambridge Memory Walk the best it can be - and you could be one of them! Watch our film to help you get to grips with what’s involved, or why not listen to our podcast episode where Pete Greaves, Legacy Partnerships Officer, shares highlights from his first experience of volunteering at Memory Walk, including the emotion of witnessing the effort people put in to remembering loved ones and the comradery with fellow volunteers.

And don’t worry if you’re not able to walk or volunteer yourself there’s still lots of ways you can help!

  1. Print out the attached posters and pop it up in your local public area
  2. Share our volunteering video to help us recruit the 50 volunteers we need

For more information see the posters attached. The walk will take place on the 29 of September in Jesus Green, Cambridge.
